100th Cheetah gathering of Light Sport Aircraft.
Cheetah number 100 was delivered this fall of 2008 and in January,2009 an event was planned.  Weather did not cooperate but I thought I'd share a recent email and photos that I recieved from Rainbow Aircraft (pty) ltd in South Africa.

Good morning Jon,

The Cheetah 100 Event was quite a success. Due to bad weather, most of the Cheetah owners were absent, but we still had a few present, and some beautiful pictures were taken.

The sun was up and the mist gone by 11:00, the journalists and Cheetah owners took off for some air-to-air photos after joining us for some coffee/juice, and returned safely to join us for some breakfast at the local airfield Pub, called; Silver wings. The media received ample time to ask both the Cheetah Owners and Vladimir some questions on the technical and performance spec of the Cheetah.

Rainbow Aircraft surprised some of the guys with gifts, and everyone received a badge to prove their presence. After enjoying the deliciously prepared breakfast, the Cheetah owners and Media were greeted and took off. We missed each and every Cheetah owner/pilot who could not join us on this memorable day.

The Cheetah 100 Event will be published in some magazines, I'll surely keep everyone informed about this.
